1 pound green beans
1/3 cup pecans -- chopped
1 clove garlic -- minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons onion -- chopped
3 Tablespoons butter
Put green beans in boiling water and cook until crisp and tender (approximately
7-8 minutes).
Remove from heat, drain and cool with cold water to stop cooking process. Set aside. Can be done ahead and refrigerated.
In large skillet over medium high heat, melt 3 Tablespoon. butter. Add pecans, onions and garlic. When onions are slightly tender add green beans and heat until beans are hot. Serve immediately.
